Jae Bum (23), who had been a member of star group 2PM and left Korea to the USA after he evoked criticism due to his utterance depreciating Koreans, came back to Korea on June 18 after nine months away. The purpose of his visit is to film the Korean and American film “Hype Nation,” in which he will appear as a main actor. A spokesperson of the production company of “Hype Nation” delivered the news on June 17 that he would arrive in Incheon International Airport at 5:50 pm on Asiana Airline.

Park Jin-young, the head of JYP Entertainment, has asked fans of Jae-beom, the former leader of popular boy band 2PM who quit after controversial negative comments he made about Korea four years ago became public, to respect his decision.
The remarks came days after the lead singer flew to the United States and fans vented their anger against Park for letting him go. JYP Entertainment is the management agency for 2PM.
Embattled 2PM leader Jaebum has left South Korea and flew to the United States today amid the growing controversy of his racist remarks which he wrote on his MySpace account.
Hundreds of fans waited at the airport as Jaebum boarded a flight to Seattle, Washington, at Incheon International Airport. They tried but failed to prevent him from leaving.
Well, 2PM’s Jaebum is getting severe headaches nowadays because of his racist remarks in his MySpace account against Koreans back in 2005 to 2007.
Some of these remarks are so rude. Having grown up in America, Jaebum thinks that Koreans are second-class citizens and that he should be treated differently.
