The hottest boy band, 2PM, who have come back with their first regular album “1:59PM,” made an appearance on KBS’s Entertainment Weekly last Saturday.
Since its leader Jae-beom left the group, the six remaining members realigned the group and had refrained from appearing on entertainment programs until now. On Weekly, they talked about the famous “pileup dance” featured in the latter part of their album’s title song “Heartbeat.” In this acrobatic dance performance, two members stand on top of the other three members, creating a pyramid shape.
The reporter asked if the members were happy with their respective positions in the dance. Taecyeon said he, Chansung and Nichkhun, who are the more heavyset, are at the bottom. He said it wouldn’t work the other way around. Chansung and Junsu then said that Taecyeon from their debut has always been the team’s official “support” in the figurative sense.
Taecyeon also spoke about his impressive performance in which he tore his shirt and bared his torso during the Blue Dragon Film Awards. He said the plan was to tear only half the shirt but the snap buttons came off so easily that the shirt nearly came off entirely.
On 2PM’s commercial shoot with actress Kim Tae-hee, they said that Kim did not have contact with the group, but they talked a great deal about the ending of the blockbuster drama “Iris” in which she stars. (KBS)
