Jeong Hye-min, the leader of female group Gavy NJ, left the team a while ago, according to the group’s representative. Speculations about Jeong’s departure have been circulating the industry for some time, but her representative just confirmed the rumors after her management agency agreed to let her go. Jeong will take a break for a while before resuming her singing career.
She has been a member of Gavy NJ for three years and eight months since the team was first formed.
As for Gavy NJ, a new member has already been selected. Still unknown to the public, the new vocal is currently recording an album with other members and the group’s new release will go on sale sometime in August. (KBS)
