SM Entertainment posted an operating income/profit of 3.8 billion won—3,836,522,000 won to be exact—or equivalent to US$3.07 million for the first half of 2009.   The financial papers covering the period January 1 to June 30, 2009 were filed by SM Entertainment on August 14 via electronic disclosure system.

SM Entertainment is using a dirty tactic against DBSK by cancelling the SMTown Live ’09 concert which was scheduled on August 16. The agency announced today that the much anticipated concert will not push through. SM cited the case filed by DBSK members Hero, Micky and Xiah as reason for the cancellation.
